Wait- Your children are at a circus, flea!?! I think Cash is right about the Wednesday am routine.
Also, is it a flea circus? Because that would be funny!
Also, if I get home after 9 pm, I can barely get myself and a CAT ready for work the next morning, so you have my sympathy.
Huh. So the Fed basically just bought AIG. Not quite sure how that works.
Wonderful news, Sophia!

Oh, that would be way funny, though, sara-- Jack-Jack
Hah!
He's a pretty one.
Jack-Jack is adorable! His paws!
I feel a little guilty for not wanting students, but as a part-time person I feel like I can either do the show or teach the students, but I don't have time for both, so I do sort of a half assed job at two things rather than a good job at one. I have had wonderful, wonderful experiences, but I just don't have time to motivate those not already motivated.
Sophia, if they want students to be able to learn this role, they need to hire and pay for someone to teach it. I'm pretty sure with your hours and pay that's not what you've committed to.
(I mean, I think they should, and it should be you if that's what you wanted. But they should be putting the resources behind it, not letting it all rest on your good nature and willingness to go the extra mile.)
ITA with Brenda. It's hard to say no, but ugh. To assume that you'll do the teaching along with your regular work load doesn't seem fair.
Have any of you seen Tim Wise's blog post about White Privilege? It's kinda brilliant.
