"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

The "Finding Curtains To My Living Room" thing is soooo much harder than I thought, people.

I think I had Real Big Life Decisions that took less time for me to solve.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I do love my super. He was out and about somewhere, but still answered my call. He said he'll deal with it first thing in the morning. Secret bonus: going into work late!

Of course, I still have to take a shower! I am assuming that won't make it (much) worse.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Holy, shit, this is the most awesome thing ever! [link]

Art Crawl!!!

Is the Vuelta d'Espana on tv anywhere? Google news tells me that Alberto Contador is in 1st place and Levi Leipheimer is in second.

It would be fun to see it. Heck, VS showed us the Tour of Ireland.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

I went outside this morning. I can't recall why I thought that was a good idea.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Outside can be good!

In short doses, at least.

How is work going?

Just call me "Siouxsie Shunshine".

I went outside this morning. I can't recall why I thought that was a good idea.

This is me almost every morning. I hate the weather here.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Okay, our realtor has called. It looks like there was a minor leak around the chimney, where we've had problems before, but other than that, the house is pretty much okay. Our neighbor a couple doors down has a tree on her garage, and it's unknown how much damage that did.

Our realtor sounds a little frazzled.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

I'm glad to hear it, Dana -- as much as I'm happy you were out of there before storm season, it must've been just a little mite stressful not knowing what the situation would turn out to be.
