Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Maybe it was a championship game, Allyson, but I don't know the uniform rules for those.

Pretty good size gash, he was airlifted to UCLA.

I'm glad I didn't go into the ER this afternoon just in case overflow ended up there.

That was the same that guy crashed into the pedestrians at the Santa Monica farmers market.

Ouch. Wasn't that an old guy?

From wikipedia, Allyson:

Given the ownership by The Football Association as of 10 March 2007, the League Cup final moved back to Wembley from Cardiff following the FA Cup final and FA Community Shield. Other showpiece football matches that were previously staged at Wembley, such as the Football League promotion play-offs and the Football League Trophy final, have returned to the stadium, as has the Football Conference play-off final.

So you'd have to make sure your match fell into one of those categories.

Allyson, I can ask Mugga if you didn't get it figured out. Let me know.

Also: Fuckity. I just found out that Matt Fraction is going to be doing a signing 15 miles from my home tomorrow. But that's 15 miles away in VA, which means it would actually be a 40 mile drive & an hour each way. And I don't think I can justify doing that just to be a dork at him for 10 minutes. I can do that over email for free. Sigh. Stupid Potomac River.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Sleeping from 9:00 to 2:00 is maybe not the best way to start a weekend, is it?

Probably not, Perkins.

I was right about the UCLA ER--they received 50 trauma patients from the crash yesterday. Since they're not that near I'd imagine that a shitload of other patients ended up at all the other class/level 1 hospitals along the way too.

Luckily, by the time I got there it was calm.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Eeek on the train crash! I've been following the hurricane news on the Weather Channel -- lots of meteorologists getting blown over.

Sounds like this would be a good month to be a Texas glass replacement company....

Yeah, I bet. I got up at 6 AM my time, due to my "awake" button having been pushed somehow.

The only ones really happy about it were the kitties.

Ugh, ita. I'm sorry you had to go to the ER after all.

The cats were very happy with me this morning too, because I kept lying down and trying to sleep but ended up petting them instead.
