Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I've got the Curve and it's working out nicely. I'd ask in the tech thread if anyone else has the Pearl.

I operate under the delusion that one day I will really read all the posts in the other threads, so I don't like to just jump to the end and ask a question. Because, clearly, I'm a little crazy. Also, thanks! Good to know.

That's the same one I have. I don't really have any tips, but I really like it.

Awesome! That's pretty much the sort of tip I'm looking for.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

One slightly annoying thing is that the screen is small enough that you've got to scroll forever to read anything, but the fact that the whole thing is small enough to fit in my pocket more than compensates for that.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Do I store them in cynical anticipation I'll gain the weight back?

If you do store them, I'd say keep them no longer than a year.

Me, I'm getting rid of everything under a size 10 and whatever shirts my boobs will never fit into again, and I'm also weeding out everything I haven't worn since I moved two and a half years ago.

In the back of my closet, I still had things in Juniors sizing. JUNIORS.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

At least if it had been something really bad/dangerous, they would have told you, right?

"I remember when they eventually introduced that drug kingpin who murdered people and smuggled drugs inside snakes and I was like 'Finally. A normal person.'” —RahvinDragand

Just got back from the ER, where I took best friend's parents to get checked out after they were in an auto accident. I was SO glad to find them fundamentally unharmed when I got there, since I didn't really know anything about their condition before I arrived on the scene.

It was a busy night in the ER. They had a DOA with a big family that all showed up in the waiting room, and a passed-out barefoot guy whose girlfriend was swearing that he hadn't taken anything right up to the point when they transfered him onto a gurney and a humongous syringe fell out of his pocket and onto the floor.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Too TOO much drama, Matt. I'm glad it all came out OK!

While I'm sure House & Co could cure ita, remember that there'd be at least two treatments first that would have dramatically awful results or nearly kill her -- tho' probably at least one would give her violent hallucinations so that she could beat up Wilson thinking that he was coming at her with a pointed stick....

"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So, that Biblical weather turned out to be New Testament, non-Book o' Revelations version. Not that I'm complaining, because it's awfully nice now.

Yeah, the sun is shining and everything! There's supposed to be a walking tour of the big Cambridge cemetary at 11, so I may be going on that, camera in hand.

since I moved two and a half years ago

Two and a half years ago? It's like Board time moves at double time from 3D world time. No wonder all the sprog grow up so fast.
