"We are the Goon Squad and we're coming to town...Beep! Beep!" - David Bowie, "Fashion"

So, that Biblical weather turned out to be New Testament, non-Book o' Revelations version. Not that I'm complaining, because it's awfully nice now.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Yeah, the sun is shining and everything! There's supposed to be a walking tour of the big Cambridge cemetary at 11, so I may be going on that, camera in hand.

since I moved two and a half years ago

Two and a half years ago? It's like Board time moves at double time from 3D world time. No wonder all the sprog grow up so fast.

“Not dead yet!”

ETA: Also, Barb's really making me want to watch Strictly Ballroom.

Heh. I'm counting off the days until Australia opens.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Hoping to get to the library today.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

As you totally should be. It looks awesome.

Hanna seems to be a hurricane of humidity for us. Which isn't turning out to be great (indoor)painting weather.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yesterday morning was insanely humid, and then there was a ton of rain in New Jersey. I had some excellent friend time, some fantastic baby time, and we went to the mall and I found a dress for the wedding I'm going to next weekend! It's black, which I feel a little weird about, but I figure an evening wedding in Manhattan, most people will be in black.

Art Crawl!!!

I bet they will be!

It's absolutely gorgeous here - sunny, cool, dry. I have the windows open and I'm enjoying the unusual feeling of sitting in my apartment and NOT sweating.

Also, I made half a pair of fingerless mitts. The only problem is that I think I misunderstood the picot bind-off. Oh, well. I'll make the next right mitt and do it correctly. Hopefully, it won't make the pair look too unpairlike.

It's gorgeous here, too. I feel like there's still time to do more with my day, but on the other hand, I feel like I've already done enough! Had a leisurely morning at my friends' house, came back home from New Jersey, and got my nails done. OK, I guess it's not that much, but whatever.
