"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I am glad to see you back here, Liese!

I'm glad to be back here! I always miss you guys when I'm moderately offline.

Gah, ita. I echo Perkins' hopes for you. But tell your parents. They should know. They can want to wrap you in bubble wrap and you can tell them that you do better without it, but tell them what happened.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It's very hot here right now, and Ozzie seems to have decided that the best place to beat the heat is to lie in my shower. The same shower I spent time super-cleaning this morning.

Apart from sports, "my secret favorite thing on earth is ketchup. I will put ketchup on anything. But it has to be Heinz." - my husband, Michael Vartan

I wish I could send House to ita. Because after he ruled out amyloidosis, lupus, MS, drugs, and cancer, he'd fix her headaches.

There were way too many kids at Target. Way too many. Also people. And mess. Now I'm tired, and I was all pumped beforehand.

I believe my new phone will be a Blackberry Pearl 8130. Pink, of course. Does anyone have any tips to share about it, by any chance?

ETA: Also, Barb's really making me want to watch Strictly Ballroom.

Art Crawl!!!

msbelle - I think you'll catch up on BSG just fine. It's not airing again until at least January and you only have 9 more episodes to go.

I feel, unaccomplished.

Although, I did some very minor cleaning, bought a little bit of food and knit.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

I've got the Curve and it's working out nicely. I'd ask in the tech thread if anyone else has the Pearl.

That's the same one I have. I don't really have any tips, but I really like it.

I operate under the delusion that one day I will really read all the posts in the other threads, so I don't like to just jump to the end and ask a question. Because, clearly, I'm a little crazy. Also, thanks! Good to know.

Awesome! That's pretty much the sort of tip I'm looking for.

One slightly annoying thing is that the screen is small enough that you've got to scroll forever to read anything, but the fact that the whole thing is small enough to fit in my pocket more than compensates for that.

"You can't put a price on the joy of not giving a shit." -Zenkitty

Do I store them in cynical anticipation I'll gain the weight back?

If you do store them, I'd say keep them no longer than a year.

Me, I'm getting rid of everything under a size 10 and whatever shirts my boobs will never fit into again, and I'm also weeding out everything I haven't worn since I moved two and a half years ago.

In the back of my closet, I still had things in Juniors sizing. JUNIORS.
