Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

It is! I bought a bottle of the lime flavor too. I love that it doesn't have any corn syrup in it.

“Not dead yet!”

I'm drinking the Archer Farms flavored water they sell as the house brand at Target. The blueberry is surprisingly refreshing and it keeps me from drinking caffeine after 6PM, which I've discovered, now has a tendency to give me insomnia.

I miss my college-aged metabolism.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My mom's town in semi-rural PA has TWO great charity donation stores, which not only have very cool clothes, they also have some really good furniture. I guess I'm so used to having all those kind of stores in teh Boston area picked over down to bones by all the students....

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Are they as comfy as they seem? How's the handling? Did he have a good trip? Are you glad to have him home?

He says it was "incredibly" comfortable. He was on the regular V-Rod, no special upgrades or aftermarket stuff. The handling was superb, although he might add a windscreen to make it more comfortable for the long haul. His trip was great and I am THRILLED to have him home, even though he leaves on Thursday for another trip. This one is to Telluride for Jeep.

I've had a headache all day that advil won't touch. It's just starting to ease, and the winds have quieted. Damn Hanna.

Poor sarameg. I just sent you email.

Not related to the headache though.

Replied, Perkins. Only moderately helpful, I think. As a tour guide, I fail.

Pshaw-- that was quite helpful.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Yeah, I'm big on thrift stores for furniture. We're getting ready to send our giant sofa with hideabed for its Round II of charity donation stores. We bought it (and chair and loveseat) for $200 and got a lot of use out of it. We'd still keep it for the media room, but it doesn't fit through the door. Did I mention massive? Which was fine when we were living in the huge mission house but not so much now. We just dropped off a big bag of clothes there and they confirmed they'd take the couch. We just have to get it there.

Anyways...

Hurricanes need to behave themselves. I need to remember to make a hair appointment. sarameg's headache needs to go away.

And whoo, I am wiped out. On Friday I only had the first and last expected students, but today I had seven out of seven all in a row. Very tiring. Fun, and makes the day go faster, but tiring. I took a nap, but now I'm all out of sorts and suspect I won't sleep tonight.
