Since I posted that horrible story earlier, I feel I should put the balance back in the awww category:
A dog at a southeast Kansas zoo has adopted three tiger cubs abandoned by their mother. Safari Zoological Park owner Tom Harvey said the tiger cubs were born Sunday, but the mother had problems with them.
I just had the oddest synchronicity - for some reason I was thinking of the movie Yog - Monster from Space this morning. I searched for it on IMDB but didn't find it. This was the first time I'd thought about that movie in many years. Then an hour or so later, my older brother emailed me, asking if I remembered that movie. We saw it on TV as kids - I'm sure we haven't talked about it in at least 20 years....
I would love to get to the point where I keep a few pairs of heels at work, so I don't have to bring those everyday either.
Oh, I have entire file cabinets devoted to shoes, and so do most of the women I work with.
