I hope Ramsay wasn't terribly offended. He's a delicate flower!

SNORT. Okay, Diet Coke up the nose-- very much with the stinging.
On Palin, and whether or not taking care of the children are an issue w/r/t carrying out the job: Why aren't people asking what her husband will do if she wins this job? I mean, if SP was Sam Palin, we'd assume the kiddos weren't a problem because the Mrs. would be overseeing their care, right?
That's my superficial thought for the day.
That, and I'll bet anyone folding money that Levi has a haircut by the time he gets on stage with his new family tonight.

Especially since, as far as I understand it, he's already the primary caregiver. And it's not like she wouldn't have significant support resources to call upon in the role, and a very ill-defined position to boot - as VP, she might be better placed than most people in America as far as taking care of her family goes.
I mean, I personally think she's appalling, and from the far outside a number of her choices seem highly questionable. But this idea that her family situation is ipso facto a bar to higher office is bullshit.

Hell, as VP, she'll have more free time than she's had in her whole career.

Well, at least until she figures out what the VP does.

"Rain? Is that your name? That's a beautiful name-- there's a song... hey, what're you doing afterwa— mmmmph, wha- huh?"

yeah, I totally agree with this.
Yup, they got him a haircut. And dressed him & Bristol like they're middle aged. Also: Cindy McCain, lay off the orange dye on your legs, or I'll tell the Fug Girls.
So, I'm not done with the superficial for today...
