A popular Scrabble knockoff is back on Facebook. It comes with changes that could help it skirt copyright and trademark laws.

Now, the game has reappeared with the name Wordscraper. The change could help it avoid any confusion with Scrabble. And the game itself has also changed. Instead of Scrabble-like square tiles, for instance, Wordscraper has circles.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Very sassy. But she still loves you like Present Aimee does.

*mwah!*

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

I carry my iPhone, GPS thingie, kleenex, wallet, keys, Dunder Mifflin pen a friend stole from The Office set, keycard for office, Listerine strips, a few sinus meds, Hello Kitty pencil case with a lipstick, mascara and other make-up in it, nylon grocery bag, glasses.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

OK, the bus story is horrifying, but the end of the article? Sort of awesome...

However, Mr. Day played down the possibility of enacting tough security measures in Canada's bus terminals, similar to what already exists in airports.

“People should always be open to looking at precautionary measures. But let's keep in mind that as bizarre and tragic as this is, it is extremely rare,” Mr. Day said.

He also dismissed talk by some opposition MPs of a “knife registry,” saying that millions of them are bought each year simply for kitchen use. He added that there are already provisions in the Criminal Code against crimes and assaults.

Speaking at a Conservative caucus meeting, Mr. Day said he does not want to jeopardize the investigation, but added he wants to see the killer “convicted in court.”

“We want to make sure that the process is followed as aggressively as possible, a full legal process, and the perpetrator is definitely dealt with the full force of the law,” he said.

That guy would never get elected here.

You know, I'm not sure I believe in the Wake n' Bacon -- I can't find anywhere to buy it.

Oh Trudy, he's a total conservative wingnut. ETA: He's totally trying to score political points with that knife registry crack. A big conservative bone in Canada is a gun registry that the Liberal Gov't started that the Conservatives used as an example of the Liberal attack on the Conservative way of life.

I own one purse. When it breaks, I get a new one.

Dana is me. With a fabulous haircut and new home.

Actually, I wanna be Dana when I grow up.

I take it back then, he would get elected.

I have 3 or 4 bags, depending how you count.

There's stuff I want to have available for just-in-case stuff at work, but that I don't necessarily need to have everywhere I go. So I always have something like a messenger bag (right now it's actually a Timbuk2 mini) for the water bottle & umbrella & Palm & notepad & checkbook & comb & sunglasses & bills to be mailed & a mini-pharmacy & whatever else. And then I have a small purse that fits inside and holds money & license & credit cards. I'm not sure if that counts as 1 or 2.

I have one "dressy" purse that is basically a small box on a chain, and therefore not very useful, but it was cute and cheap. I used it once when I went to a party, and expect to use maybe once a year.

And last winter I got this itty-bitty thing that can hold cash-lipstick-keys and can be buckled to a belt or something. Because there'd been a couple of times when I'd gone out to bars with Daniel and keeping track of where my purse was is super-annoying. So that's another one I expect to use very rarely, but it has its purpose.

My purse needs are entirely about size and organization. And about them being black, so that I do not have to care if they "match" whatever it is that a purse is supposed to match in whatever way it is supposed to do so, since apparently I was out the day that all the instructions about shoes and purses came down.

A young man travelling on a Greyhound bus was stabbed to death and beheaded by a stranger in a horrifying act of apparently random violence.
My friend Marcia and I have been talking about that all morning.
