Unemployed!
And leaking money...spent $75 at the ER to be told I should spend $350 on drugs not covered by my insurance company if I really wanted the pain to go away.
::sigh::
And I managed to almost knock one of my wing mirrors always off. As is, it's going to require taping to be drivable. I'm glad it drives well, because it certainly
looks
like a hooptie car.
Aw crap, ita, I'm sorry to hear that you're unemployed.
If it's even the eensy-weensiest bit of comfort, my sooper-seekrit project I told you about is still a go. I just have to clear a few projects first, including the illos Jilli needs.
Bah.
I think I want to go back to bed.
Go back to bead. You have my permission. I put bean soup in the crockpot last night. It smells so very very yum!
At least it wasn't a surprise, ita. A month or two of downtime isn't necessarily a bad thing given your health, but I can incredibly sympathize with the "bleeding money" part of the equation.
On the plus side, I applied for seven jobs yesterday... some of them, I'm even qualified for! This is important because I've been a little too intimidated to actually try that for the past month. Even though I've been drawing from my savings to live and all.
Stephanie - insent.
I am sooo glad we came home 3 full days before school & work start up again.
msbelle-- there's a lot to be said for resting up after your vacation!
msbelle, did Mac like the Animaniacs?
I firmly believe in needing a vacation after your vacation.
ita, are your parents still here?
The students are arriving in town this weekend. It's not safe to be out.
Perkins, OMG he loved them. Of course he does not get half of it, but the silliness and slapstick was loved. btw - disk 2 was missing.
