Early: So is it still her room when it's empty? Does the room, the thing, have purpose? Or do we -- what's the word? Simon: I really can't help you. Early: The plan is to take your sister. Get the reward, which is substantial. 'Imbue.' That's the word.

Right up your interior alley. (Would it be living in the easel side?)

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Aspidistra was probably the most popular Victorian parlor plant, so it should feel right at home.

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Ooh, ChiKat's storm just arrived.

I like to share.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

My hair is longer than it has ever been. I'm stealing the Buffista length.

I am too tired to write/rewrite. I just want a sandwich, a shower, and bed.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I just watched a show yesterday that said English Ivy is good for air purification -- I'm guessing almost any ivy would be good

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

Aspidistra is also on the the non-toxic to cats list, which is another point in its favor. Devil's Ivy is on the toxic list.

Swouncing

So.

My very kind and considerate PhD supervisor managed to get me an extension of two weeks in my dissertation deadline, due to all the computer problems I experienced in the last few weeks.

The one thing I wanna do is go to sleep. I don't think the number of hours of sleep I accumulated throughout the whole week adds up to two digits. Sigh.

OK, back to work.

[Edited because who knew you could write "in the" with so many mistakes. There were more mistakes than actual letters in those words!]

"What would it take to get your daughter to stop tweeting about this?"

Sending you lots of support. Yay for extra time. And for some extra sleep.

"I'm useless alone." // "We're all useless alone. It's a good thing you're not alone."

Someone talk me down from the ledge. My house will sell even if there's a stain on the counter, right?

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

Go Nilly! (all-purpose support and cheering you on)

Pete, the others got to it before me, but pothos and aspidistra are hardy (my mother had a pothos on the side of the jacuzzi in her bathroom and the vine extended all the way around and, when she wasn't noticing, it literally climbed the wall - we pulled it off and some of the paint came with it ... tenacious little thing).

David, I saw someone on the bus the other day and was thinking how you'd LOVE her hair - dark, very thick, cut in an angled bob (extreme angle - chin length in front, above the nape in back) with thick bangs and the nape was cut into a V. Very striking.
