Noah and I were at the park on a playgroup thing. Safest place to be. A mom freaked for a few a seconds and then got over it. Haven't felt any aftershocks.

Anyone ever had lightning strike close by (or been hit by it)? Once I was driving at night from Green Bay to Clintonville during a storm, and lightning struck the highway about 20 feet in front of me. I was blinded for a few seconds - that was scary.
It was weird - I could see sparks where the lightning hit the road.
I used to go over to Topeka to the mega mall while I was going to KU before Lawrence got their mall. That was always fun.
Like the lineman?

When I was on a highway survey crew some lightning hit an oil rig about 100 feet away from us. That's when the boss decided to pack it in until the stormed passed over.
