Gets my vote. Although, if the coconut smashes, it's comedy gold.

Elfie Schlagle

She's Canadian. She didn't drive me as crazy as the guy, who was so annoying I went to bed.

I generally cheer against the Americans (sorry, but it's true), but it's hard not to like Michael Phelps.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

You can have him helped by friends throwing several things and make a fruit salad.

Oof today my body was not so interested in getting vertical.

I had a 6:40 request from some interns who just started on Monday. They wanted a meeting room reserved and guests entered into the system for a 9am meeting. HA! I was all, I I leave at 5pm, cannot access things from home AND you cannot do things last minute - working for them is NOT my job and yet 2 days in they are taking so much time. Ducks at my ankles!

And why are the gymnastics uniforms so sparkly? It's an athletic competition, not a My Little Pony convention.

"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

There's drilling on the roof of my apartment building, on and off for the past 3 hours. It doesn't seem to stop.

As a result, I'm typing these words with earplugs.

It's driving me crazy.

Art Crawl!!!

I'm tired. I stayed up too late.

I'm afraid I may not have programmed tivo to record dressage.

Also - didn't the American women's gymnastics team just seem completely glum?

Art Crawl!!!

Also, facebook wouldn't add the interactive friends graphthingy for me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I generally cheer against the Americans (sorry, but it's true), but it's hard not to like Michael Phelps.

That's funny, because I'm the opposite! I'm so over him. Maybe give someone else a chance?

yes, completely. Alicia looked like she wanted to hit the cameraman a couple of times after that beam routine for not getting out of her face too.

I read a blog last night of someone that seemed very knowledgeable about gymnastics and he was saying that the americans seemed like they were overtrained. i have to agree.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What does overtraining do?

they know the routines backwards and forwards. they start to overthink what they should be doing. like with Alicia last night on floor, she's done that routine in so many competitions it's not even funny. she's gotten to the point where all she worries about is going out of bounds. so what does she do? she goes out of bounds!
