not small either...
But it was over pretty quick. At least here in Silverlake.

UGH!!! STUFF FELL.
EARTHQUAKE!
Um-- Is everyone OK?
I always feel we should have some sort of Buffista check in procedure for disasters and such.
Jeez! Everyone ok?
I skipped over a ton to see how many folks felt the quake. It wasn't much here, at first I thought something fell on the roof, then I realized what it was. Sounds like it was stronger for everyone a bit north of me.
Allyson, I am home trying to work today, so I'll try to get that chapter read. I've been busy all weekend and all of yesterday with the kids.
Shit, that was scary! I'm fine, but shit. In three years, that's the first real earthquake I've felt. It was pretty strong here in Pasadena, though it looks like it was centered in Chino Hills.
That was a fun ride.
How quick is quick for you, Sean? People had exchanges here, and then there was a wee aftershock, but I'm having difficulty estimating an actual duration. 15s? Long enough for people to get under desks and yell at others for not doing it too.
This is weird. Was it really that big? Should I call daycare? (Odd, it really didn't feel like much here, but 5.8 is not so wee, is it?)
Dude! I hope all our LAistas can check in!
You want I should send Vampire People to them?
That's very tempting. I guess I can always bring them my copy, if they're curious.
