"And that's why God Almighty gave us fire insurance and the public defender".

Someone posted pictures of David Boreanaz in my musical forum, claiming he reminds her/him of Greg Dulli.

Now, ignore the fact that I can't find similarity between two people unless they're identical twins. I'm just restraining myself from jumping up and down and screaming "leather pants! leather pants! woooooo!" there.

It has been a while since Angelus was on my screen.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

Calli, which skirt?

Oops, yeah, went to bed before I saw this. Sorry.

Anyway, I just checked the catalog and it looks like they've finally retired the perfect skirt. Pity. I'm currently wearing the 5 year old version of it, and it still looks good enough for a job interview.

If I were trying to find a replacement, I'd probably try this, in black. I have the wide legged trousers in the same fabric, and they're great. Kind to my hips, wrinkles just fall out, and they don't feel like spun saran wrap in the NC summer heat.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

megan,

I'm sad to report that the French for stress is in fact "le stress".

Perhaps the French were not acquainted with stress until they had to deal with English?

Then they would've just call "stress" "le English", no?

Shir, I think they've assigned enough bad things to the English that they went with "le stress" to make it clear WHICH English bad thing they were referring to.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.
