I'm having a style crisis
I'm having a style crisis in that my clothes are getting worn out or not fitting me anymore. I need to cull my closet and then do some shopping.
I don't want to spend very much until I start getting a regular paycheck again. Target seems to have some cute dresses.
Target does have great dresses. I gotta say, Target rocks. They Get It. They have fantastic marketing ideas, get in very cool designers, the whole shebang.
Kat! I saw your comment on the Flickr page before I saw it here, so I asked you if (beautiful) Kuma is a Shiba Inu?
Nilly, Dylan isn't swimming in the dip, but he indeed wearing it.
Question: is it okay to talk about a television show here casually? Or do I need to find the proper thread? I've just Netflixed and devoured (the first dvd of) Damages and am now watching Mad Men in between Phelps races. Holy cow that is some awesome teevee.
Kuma is a jindo. Probably pure bred and found at a shelter. Jindos are the like the next size up from a shiba and Korean instead of Japanese. This was taken years ago.
I didn't watch Phelps last night because I tivoed (and watched today) Mad Men.
In looking through old flickr, I just have to say me and msbelle walking in skirts is so funny. I weighed so much more then. And so much has changed in our lives since. Damn. I loved that skirt. I must have given it away.
Huh. I'm surprised they didn't, actually. I kind of get why he's pissed. Has he turned into some kind of embarrassing freakshow or something that the network doesn't want to grapple with?
They've heard rumours that he spitz.
Re the Olympics, I love the way Australia sounds in Chinese, like they're really belting it out. (Every character has a downward tone, so it sounds like they're emphasising! Every! Syllable!) Oh, and the characters, which are all chosen for phonetic reasons, mean Bay Large Strength Asia, which I also find quite charming. (The Chinese for America means Beautiful Country.)
Holy cripes, javachick. That's HYSTERICAL. How big is Chile Pepper? Is she a shiba or a jindo? Also, i'd like to point out with that pic of Kuma? That's when we had rented a subaru outback!
Bwahaha! Dogs squashing their own heads!
Oh, Kat, that's just way too weird!!
Chile could be kindsa everything; the vet's best guess is Shiba Inu & "extras".
And how big is she? About 35 pounds, I think. She's definitely at least 10 lbs heavier than the purebred Shibas we've encountered.
