The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

F2F is good, Perkins! I imagine any planning would get lost in natter.

Hawaii is too exotic a place for Obama and his family to vacation in.

Apparently the news about Hawaii's statehood hasn't reached the average voter.

New Mexico's license plates need to say New Mexico United States of America because people can't tell the difference between New Mexico and Old Mexico.

And suddenly I'm concerned about Allyson's bat.

Only about 0.5% of bats have rabies at any given time, so the chance of him contracting it from his bloodsucking cousins in South America is still pretty small.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have been very efficient today. It's kind of freaking me out.

Well yeah. When I was a kid and my family would go to Hawaii to see family. Other kids in Ohio often asked me what kind of money they used in Hawaii.

Friends don't let friends read "Atlas Shrugged"

I remember reading at one point that the reason people get rabies from bat bits/scratches is that they're SO SMALL the injured person doesn't notice them.

In other how-stupid-can-people-get, a cow-irker at a previous job had a bat get into her house. She was terrified because she was under the impression that they spit acid/poison at people.
