Elevated subway cars don't count?
Somewhat relatedly, my health insurance at work just changed, to the Nippon Life Insurance company. They claim to have the same network of providers as the old company, but I'm definitely not looking forward to providing my Japanese life insurance card at the doctor's.
OK, if the women are playing beach volleyball in what are just beefy bikinis, why are the men wearing shirts and baggy shorts?
I am kinda amazed at how NOT into the olympics mac is. No interest in the opening ceremonies, bored by it all.
To make us suffer.
There's always the swimmers and divers, I guess. And the gymnasts.
Is there a minimum age for the Olympics, or for any sports other than gymnastics and figure skating? I know that the minimum gymnastics age is 16, but I've heard a few 14- and 15-year-olds mentioned in other sports.
Heh. I have just turned on teh Olympics for the first time (having read the watch and post last night but was out during the opening ceremonies--meant to TiVo and forgot, am kinda sad. I always love, and the pictures are not the same, especially for the procession of the athletes!). And it's teh women's beach volleyball. Connie's comments are very timely, as my friend and I were just talking about the womens' outfits.
Oh, that has already started, has it - medical things with the cause being age. let me take to my chair and rest a spell.
Dude. I had part of a tooth break off out of the blue (I wasn't, like, chewing on toffee or anything) at one point, and went to the dentist, and he said "This happens as we get older". I was TWENTY SEVEN.
Oh, please. My teeth were breaking out of the blue before I was 25. And it hasn't happened since.
surely all the athletes could just wear thongs for our enjoyment, right?
