Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

the real focus should be Elizabeth, who is by all accounts both fabulous and wronged.

Yes.

Greece's financial crisis threatens to take down all of Western civilization - a civilization they themselves founded. A rather tragic irony - which is something they also invented. - Jon Stewart

I roll my eyes that the Baby Daddy is a staffer.

Really?

I mean, I suppose its possible that she dated the way through the campaign -- but it just makes me think "Pay off!"

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

YAY shrift! If it is google, you will probably be right in my neck of the woods when you come out to CA.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I still like Edwards (and Clinton). I have no need for political leaders to live up to some unattainable level of morality defined by people who are not me. In other words, I don't care at all who they screw. None of my business or anyone elses.

ETA: Congrats, Shrift!

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

"You named him her after the dog cat?!"

Er, well, I did have that cat named Matilda right before I married you. Though actually both cat and daughter are named after Roald Dahl's Matilda -- I just gave the name to the cat because at the time I got her my chances of having a human child seemed very slight.

What she said. Better a woman than the nation. (although I am disappointed, but he's not my husband.) Go, shrift.

I probably don't personally care who a candidate is mutually adult consentually sleeping with... but I DO wonder about the priorites of someone who can't keep it in his pants when he knows its going to hurt his candidacy, the party, etc.

You'd really rather get laid than elected? Next please.

Punishingly Intricate

You'd really rather get laid than elected? Next please.

Yeah, seriously, it's the no sense having that bothers me.

I never got over or trusted Clinton after he lied to my face while campaigning in his first presidential election about gays in the military. I mean I know all politicians lie to get what they want but but he seemed so sincere!

"What kind of magical sunshine and lollipop world do you live in? Because you need to be medicated."-SFist

children with both prenatal and postnatal cellphone exposure were 80 per cent more likely to have abnormal or borderline scores on tests evaluating emotional problems, conduct problems, hyperactivity, or problems with peers.

Maybe it's just 'cause their parents are on the phone all the time, instead of, I don't know, parenting.
