Natter 60: Gone In 60 Seconds
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
The eldest nephew has two modes: ON and OFF. And he needs shockingly less sleep than other kids his age. We need to bottle that shit.
I'm curious to see if the younger follows that path as well.
When my brother and SIL procreated, it was like caffeine met sugar, or crack met...uh, speed?
Exhausting as it is, after a few days with the kids, you too sleep as hard as they do! (And actually, mom was still able to get her afternoon naps in when D visited. He does self-entertain pretty darn well. But often as not, he'd wake her up by slipping in to play quietly or lie down fidgeting next to her.)
Interesting time-killer: [link] I saw it clockwise at first, but then it went counter-clockwise. Not sure what that means.
I can see it either way, and can switch it back and forth.
Oy. Landlord sent a horrible email to my neighbor.
K, Allyson has brought ymy attention that you are having a problem with her parking in the back which I gave her permission to do so until I can get move C's truck. As of a month to month rental, I do not have to guarenntee a parking space so I told Allyson that she can park in back diagonally until I can get rif of the truck, she called me and and told me that you are giving her a hrad time about parking back there. Stop now, or I will be forced to take action about this issue.and you will be parking on the street.
DUDE. THE PROBLEM IS THE TRUCK. YOU SAID THAT COLIN'S OLD SPACE WAS MINE WHEN YOU SHOWED ME THE PLACE. PLEASE TO STOP CAUSING MORE PROBS WITH MY NEIGHBORS.
MOVE TRUCK. MOVE!
Ah shit. As much as it sucks, I'd say go to K and tell her you weren't trying to make trouble, just get the damned truck moved and it went totally haywire.
I just talked on the phone while online. OK, I was ignoring online, but whoa.
Of course, it occurs to me that when I lose power now, I lose internet. Hrm. OTOH, that happens rarely. And faaaaast.
God, I'm a broken record.
Ugh Allyson, why am I not surprised that the landlord fails to see herself as the problem?
Oy vey, Allyson. You definitely need to reassure K that you are NOT the problem here!
There were some tornado warnings in the area here, but it just now started raining.
Hey, the storms followed! I'm trying to type with 12+lbs of cat snoring on my shoulder and upper arm and a 'puter balanced on my thigh. HARD. Who thought wireless was a good idea? Obviously my cats. Time to give up and go plug it in and free my torso.
Oh, totally told her that this was craxxy and that I'm not party to kicking her out of my spot.
She's aware that this isn't me.
Whew. I just spent an hour looking through my place up one side and down the other because I could not find the file folders with mac's original adoption papers in. I was seriously starting to freak out. But I found them. I must must must focus and get busy on the re-adoption which is coming up on a year late (not that there is a real due date, just that you can officially do it at 6 months). Tomorrow is the day to go through and figure out what I have, what I need and what to do next.
Allyson, that whole situation sucks. Are you scared to be month to month with this lady with no signed papers?
Oh hell yeah. All I have is cashed checks. It's pretty much on her that she has no paperwork. No one here does.
