How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

I'm leaving for San Francisco in 10 hours. I have yet to pack.

I'm moving in two weeks and I have yet to pack a thing.

I should probably get on that soon.

Smart boy!

Mister Kitty is very jealous of the laptop on my lap. I'm getting poked and yowled at and having to type around him.

But! I did manage to totally fuck up my wireless router and internet connection and then set it all to rights! With security and shit. Probably more I could set up, but I've tempted fate enough as it is.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Sometimes I wish I could just suck energy from children-- I am so tired all the time and they are so-- um-- not.

Well, kids are energy vampires. They tend to suck the energy from you.

Now tagless for your comfort.

Sometimes I wish I could just suck energy from children-- I am so tired all the time and they are so-- um-- not.

I wanna pull a Smile Time on my kids EVERY FUCKING AFTERNOON when I'm dragging ass and they're running around in circles in the backyard.

The eldest nephew has two modes: ON and OFF. And he needs shockingly less sleep than other kids his age. We need to bottle that shit.

I'm curious to see if the younger follows that path as well.

When my brother and SIL procreated, it was like caffeine met sugar, or crack met...uh, speed?

Exhausting as it is, after a few days with the kids, you too sleep as hard as they do! (And actually, mom was still able to get her afternoon naps in when D visited. He does self-entertain pretty darn well. But often as not, he'd wake her up by slipping in to play quietly or lie down fidgeting next to her.)

The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.

Interesting time-killer: [link] I saw it clockwise at first, but then it went counter-clockwise. Not sure what that means.

I can see it either way, and can switch it back and forth.
