She's terse. I can be terse. Once in flight school, I was laconic.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I don't think the picture changes, but I don't think it means anything, either.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

Dana, I suspect this will be the first step in a meaningful and hateful relationship.

Coding and Sleeping

Leaving time needs to get here. Tonight I'm making my daughter's birthday meal. She already had her birthday party, but it didn't have a homemade cake, so tonight I'm making my wheat-crust pizza and I'm baking a cake to her specifications. She requested a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting on the outside and vanilla frosting between the layers.

I want to get home and start making dough.

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Aw, Gud is such a great Dad!

Yay birthday cake, specially made!

Storm headed this way. Will probably hit just as I leave. Without and umbrella.

I shouldn't be surprised.

But! I did have a moment of blackhearted joy: tried calling coworker in the dark. First line rang and rang and rang. So I tried the other. Just as I was about to give up, he answers it, breatheless.

He'd barely heard the first line ringing and sprinted in the dark to answer it, only to get a dial tone. At which point, he hears the other line ringing at the farthest opposite of the house. Sprints and...it's me!

He was going to get his pound of flesh, but then he heard about my day. Heee.

Random question--has ita been seen round these parts since she reset the board a day and a half ago?

I realized suddenly that I am used to seeing rather more of her font, and scrolled back a bit, and did not see of her since then. But I am not everywhere.

I hope she is OK, she usually posts even from the ER!

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

How is it only Thursday? This week hasn't been bad really, but I swear it's gone on forever.

Swouncing

meara, I've been wondering, as well. And, of course, hoping right there with you!

(Also, how are you doing today? I hope that even if the circumstances haven't changed since yesterday, you at least manage to feel better, because you definitely deserve to!)

How is it only Thursday? This week hasn't been bad really, but I swear it's gone on forever.

With me, it's the other way around - I can't believe the week is almost over. I had so little accomplished in it. And the days seem to intermingle among themselves, so I'm also on the "how Thursday?" train, but from the opposite end.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Movers called, and our stuff is being delivered tomorrow instead of Saturday. Yay. Though now we have to pack up all our stuff tonight, but still. My books! My computer! My DVDs!

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica
