So, on Saturday, we went to a farm to pick raspberries. They had animals. But the freakiest part was the goat enclosure was in two different places and they had a sky walkway that the goats could walk on to get to the other side.
Freaky.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Are they going to use LEDs for lighting?
(Get it? GET IT??)
There's the Botanical Gardens at UCLA.
Thanks! It's no aerial goats, but it still looks like a place I could exercise my camera, if not my pencils. Man, London parks could skew a girl, especially Kew.
Looks like Noah's down with animals, and he's down with water. A couple of good things to check off.
The Zep article was one link away from a cherry tomato/arugula pasta recipe. I've always been a fan of pasta sauces where the tomatoes are uncooked--that's a big part of why I liked that Caprese one a couple weeks back. Does anyone have any more lying around?
Man, I'm still overfull from lunch's lemonade. I'm such a lightweight.
One thing I don't like about LA is its lack of green space.
What are you talking about? Griffith Park was on fire just today!
No sky goats though. That I'm aware of.
Absolutely! thursday is free day at Huntington. I'm getting tickets tomorrow to go.
I'd love to go! I'll try to call you or email you to get the deets.
And ita, the botanical gardens at UCLA makes for a nice walk, esp when there's enough wet to fill the wee creek. We've taken the kids more than a few times, hell, used to go all the time when we were kids as well.
There's also UCLA's Japanese garden, which is hidden away up in Bel Air and was free last I went, but you need to call ahead to reserve parking. Would certainly reward you for bringing along the camera.

They totally should! But the fuel should be Unleaded.
The truth is out there... um... somewhere....

Actually, the club I went to in Vegas (not the Double Down) used fresnel-style cans with a bunch of LEDs in them - they looked kind of like LiteBrites, but they were effective at getting a color cast without making the stage too bright (or too hot). The LEDs were only positioned on what would be the proscenium arch (have to be close, LEDs don't have much throw), and the rest were standard instruments. It was pretty cool. I thought. I was also in Vegas and had already drank a goodly portion of a Warp Core Breach and a Borgsphere, so my judgment could have been suspect. It happens. But I remember being very excited about the LED lights at the time.
