That would be nice, Shir. Especially since they are actually starting to get rowdy and like they are going to fight. For some reason, one apartment behind me seems to keep getting rented to just post-college age frat/rowdy types. Which is sort of weird because everyone else is either a young couple with a baby or a little old lady with a cat. And me, but I am pretty much a 35 year old little old lady with a cat.
I am going to try and go back to sleep for another 20-30 minutes, and then I am just going to get up and clean.
Jesus God, they have set off a car alarm.
calls the police behalf of Sophia, aiming to the noise makers until police will show up to kill the party
Thank you Shir!
I think they just had a big fight, and now everyone has left and things are quiet. Of course, this now means they are driving home drunk, I imagine.
Now, to hope I can actually sleep again. Falling asleep is rather hard for me once I wake up.
Falling asleep is rather hard for me once I wake up.
Right there with you. But I'm kindda tired now, so how about I'll pass you my tiredness and you'll sleep for the both of us?
and now everyone has left and things are quiet.
Never question my abilities to put an end a party, even from a three continents distance!
And skipping again, to post that, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is Deena's birthday.
Happy birthdya, Deena! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Happy birthday, Deena!
Nilly! How are you? Are the computers cooperating now?
Slight panic this morning: my sister took my camera, the one with all the pictures I took and didn't develop the last year (yes, I'm slow), including the ones from my trip to US, asked from a store to burn a CD with them so she'll be able to delete those pictures and use the camera (yes, as I explained her, she could do it on her own without paying anyone else).
So I tried to look at those pictures from the CD this weekend. It didn't worked on my parents' computer, but hey, almost nothing does.
I took the CD with me to my laptop in J-city. I tried to check now, and nada, computer thinks it's an empty CD.
I texted my sister, and trying not to panic. Most chances I'm doing something wrong.
Shir, yes, most chances are that there's a problem which is *not* the complete disappearance of all your pictures. Either the pictures are on the CD in a format the computer doesn't recognize, they weren't labeled properly, there's some little program that's missing - there are so many possibilities for what-could-go-wrong.
But! Even if you can't reach them now, they're there. The digital info is there. Even if it may take somebody with a bit more expertise to fish them out and lay them all right and proper, the data is there.
Also, did your sister delete them already from the camera?
I hope you're right. Will look into it tonight.
And I think so. I didn't check it myself so I can't be sure, but logic says that if she made sure they'll be on a CD, she deleted them from the camera.
