So that's my dream. That and some stuff about cigars and a tunnel.

You know what'll wake you up? Adrenaline!

(just had another run in with "omfg, did I screw that huge major thing up." I'm going to be glad when this week ends.)

“Not dead yet!”

I'm thinking if it did happen, that it was way, way, way back in the day-- like the Christy Mathewson/Walter Johnson era, but even then, I doubt it. A guy probably would've gotten beaten senseless by his teammates for allowing something like that.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I could do with some wakey-uppey stuff. Or tea. Let me try that.

I got a ticket today. My registration's not on my car. I know I registered the car--but I don't remember putting the sticker on (which means very little--I don't ever). Can one get replacements?

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I'm working a short day and then going to DMV to get my Colorado license. Wish me luck and competent clerks.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Happy Birthday vw!

Am waiting for G to get home, then we are off to Pittsburgh for Confluence.

Last night we saw "Not the Messiah!(He's a very naughty boy)" at Wolftrap. Fun!

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

A guy probably would've gotten beaten senseless by his teammates for allowing something like that.

Possibly. I'm thinking about Favre's record touchdown last season, though, and while the defense did clearly go for the receiver, there wasn't quite the... oooomph behind it that there normally would be.

I was originally thinking of that awesome women's softball team that carried the opposing injured player around the bases, though.

Calli: My people have a saying. A man who trusts can never be betrayed, only mistaken.Avon: Life expectancy among your people must be extremely short.

I do think there have been cases where stars on the verge of setting world records have had the opposition kind of fold, especially when said opposition was already behind and had no chance of catching up. I'd vague this up a bit more, but I'm afraid that is as specific as my memory gets right now.

Art Crawl!!!

Well, my bathtub drain has moved from "slow" to "blocked" as in it's been about 36 hours since it was last waterfree. Landlord's handyman not coming round 'til Monday. It's going to be 87 degrees tomorrow.

This is NO FUN.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

Last night we saw "Not the Messiah!(He's a very naughty boy)" at Wolftrap.

Cool! Eric Idle and all? I was in two performances of that last week.
