Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My dinner is ordered Nilly, so the ball is all in your court. Sense ahoy!

Just got these in the mail. Is that price reasonable? It occurs to me that I have a very narrow shoe budget, whereas other people can recognise what makes a pair of shoes go for $120 even if they wouldn't drop the dough themselves. Me, I'm a

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Happy anniversary, Barb!!! Congrats!!

I just caught the friend with the flying-with-a-baby experience, and she composes an answer for me to pass along to Kat. I have a good excuse. For a few more minutes, anyway.

Enroll Noah in your excuse, why don't you? Good thing he's adorable.

Happy anniversary, Barb! Are you going out to celebrate? What are you wearing? (eta: uh, then, not now. didn't mean to sound pervy.)

So you're saying I'm exploiting adorable babies for my nefarious selfish needs?

Wait, does that mean I can put pictures of him and Gracie in my dissertation in order to charm the referees into approving it?

Worth a shot!

Hey--I think I hear my dinner arriving.

Can someone link me to that production design meeting of the stop sign again? Thanks in advance.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Kat, I'm copying-and-pasting from B's e-mail:

most stuff are obvious some depend on baby's age

during takeoff and landing - breastfeed / drink bottle / pull pacifier so baby sucks - helps prevent ear pains (order is from best to ok since swallowing is better than sucking)

enough wipes (N vomited - I had to clean the plane's carpet and *I* had to clean)

simple food (cheerios - keep them busy and quiet during the lines for the tickets)

lots of stickers

baby toys - only if you are willing to lose them because things get lost.

stroller can go until the plane - take one because there are long walks in the airport

don't forget to take the car-seat because you need it right after the plane

ask for a bassinet. and verify and verify again. i think it is given below 6 month. but it is very small. in any case the seats next to it are bigger.

and it is cold on the airplane so baby needs more layers. I guess everybody knows that.

I also put a sticker on the baby with name and phone and more details. just in case he is lost somehow. didn't happen.

good luck

[Edited to wave back at Susan]
