Buffista conversation #37: Really, really bad names for your kids!
When my coworker was reading me that story this morning, she did NOT say that Fish and Chips were twins! I thought it was just one kid! I'm not sure if that makes it better or worse...
Does anyone get the ad on Facebook for SinglesNet, which is showing a picture of Jensen Ackles as one of the "hot guys" you can meet on SinglesNet. WTF?
Cool! Post a link in the Dean Winchester thread at TwoP and watch the SinglesNet servers crash from signup overload!

You show gratitude *to* somebody *for* something-they-did, right?
I would like to show my deepest gratitude to tommyrot for his continuing useful advice regarding the correct phrasing in the English language.
Uhg. Bad thing happened. Not my fault, but I have to do the cleanup. And it's scary because it means something didn't work as expected and that's REALLY bad because how many other cases might there be? Uhg. UHG.
really bad names for your kids
One of my cousins has named her newborn Bishop Robert [Lastname-begins-with-B]. I haven't heard the reasons why they chose that name, but I can't think of any good ones. Poor kid is going to have an awful time in school. What are they (family OR classmates) going to call him? All the possibilities are horrible. Bish? (Or worse, Bitch?) Shop? B-Bob? Bubba? Be-Right-Back? Arby? (Or worse, Barbie?)
Not my fault
Duh. Everything is my fault.
that's REALLY bad because how many other cases might there be?
Oh, sara, I'm sorry.
Is it too early to try to Pollyanna this with the hope that now that you know about this, it'll be possible to look at the rest of the stuff and find out if anything else doesn't work, before it fails like this current one and causes more problems and needs for cleanups? Or is all the checking process too complicated and stressful in and of itself as it is?
[Edit: dcp, where is your tagline from?
