Oh, was that it?
I swear I was sitting her thinking, "okay, there's no way they're shouting Hitler, but damn if I can figure out what they are saying."
[FTR, that's not snark or some oblique slam at anybody. I really couldn't tell what they were saying and that's what it sounded like.]
"I will be making no decisions tonight"?!
She just said she's making no decisions tonight.
Augh!!!
Her opening lines sounded pretty concessiony to me, but I guess not so much. Why? I really don't get it.
Oh, I thought they were shouting "ten months."
Wait, what? Dude, IT'S OVER. There's no decision to make tonight, you LOST THE VOTE. Oy fucking vey, I'm going to bed.
Gah. I was really, really hoping she'd grab this opportunity to throw her support and turn the tone of this around. I don't see how she comes off this looking good.
I thought she was saying that she was making no decisions tonight about her future plans.
I thought she was saying that she was making no decisions tonight about her future plans.
Yep, that's how I read it. I don't think she's going to prolong it much more. I think she's setting herself up to take the VP position. And honestly, I think that would be the best thing.
Personally, I'm still crazy pissed and bitter at Gore for conceding when HE HAD WON. I have no problems with Hillary sticking it out until the absolute complete last second. Which Gore totally should have done. I realize a lot of people feel like it's hurting party unity, but for me, not so much. I was rooting for Hillary, but I will have no problems supporting Obama come November because Hillary waits one more day to concede. It's not like it's going to make me a big McCain fan somehow. Though I do like McCain better than Bush, for the record. So who knows, maybe I will go all crazy anti-party! That would be exciting.
Honestly, I don't want her anywhere near the ticket, but then, things like this: [link] makes me cranky.
