Early: Where'd she go? Simon: I can't keep track of her when she's not incorporeally possessing a space ship. Don't look at me.

It's five thousand for kissing, ten thousand for snuggling... End of list.

Do you change and/or clean your filters, Jesse?

Read this, pulled off the front of my unit-- unbelievable. I never thought about cleaning the filters. What a mess.

“Not dead yet!”

My favorite little lobster dive is this place on a back street, down an alley, and across the railroad tracks in New London. They have the cold lobster roll most people know, but they also have a hot lobster roll, which is my favorite thing ever. Choice lobster meat with drawn butter drizzled across it in a hot dog bun. Hell yeah.

::drools::

Sort of like me and Cuban food. I refuse to pay gobs of money for what's essentially cheap-ass comfort food, most of which I can make myself, prepared by some fool who thinks adding a demi-glace is a good idea.

Feh.

Back from audition-- looks like Abby might have a good shot at making the parade ensemble.

NZ v Tonga was the one that made me think West Side Story: "We will FUCK YOU UP... with DANCE!"

Hah! Totally awesome!!

Sniff. I was all excited the other night, with teh Girl, apparently there's this "Cuban" restaurant across the street from her, the last time I was over it was closed, and it has lines out the door, becuase there's only like two tables. So I'm thinking awesome things. Little dive joint, two tables, lines out the door? But dude. It was not really Cuban food. I may try the sandwich, next time (I was too hungry to wait, and it said it took extra time), but...sigh. And there weren't even any plantains anywhere on the menu, which also made me sad. I was hoping for some plantains. I love plantains.

Mmm... plantains. Loves me some maduros.

ETA: I have come to the inescapable conclusion that Bobby Flay may be an ass, but he's a very talented ass.

Goat cheese fundido and smoked lamb Cobb Salad at Mesa Grill on Thursday at lunch. Gotta love when editors take you to lunch, man. :-)

Loves the haka. Following those youtube links led to this great one: [link]

UH Football did start with a haka, but they eventually switched to a Hawaiian ha'a. [link]

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

All of the haka vids are awesome, but I think I like Lori's last link the best.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I've never had lobster.

Our wings are not tired.

The haka vids have been so much fun.

Never had shellfish until I was married because my mother was allergic. Mmmmm lobster. I like both the Maine and Florida varieties. Different, both yummy. I think I need to find Kristin's lobster joint.

I think I was probably mid 20s when I ate shrimp for the first time. Took a bit to get over the 'big bug' thing.

Cuban food for us is the Latin American in Miami. Although for me I just look for Cuban coffee when I need to go to Miami for whatever reason. Fortunately that happens often.
