Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Wine that you don't drink can also be frozen in ice cube trays and then used in cooking. It won't taste quite as good as using fresh wine, but frozen good wine tastes better than newly-opened not-so-good wine, especially after it cooks down.

not your mom's socks.

I was big on mixing my own yogurt - Stonyfield's plain nonfat + fruit or preserves. Then the hospital maternity ward got me hooked on yoplait. For lo, it was all I could eat for days.

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

But Obama has picked up a full twelve more endorsements today, running the gamut from the sublime (Carter) to the ridiculous (Kwame Kilpatrick), so there are certainly things afoot.

I totally called it this morning -- he'll get just enough endorsements today to make going over the top with today's primaries a sure thing by the time they're done calling the totals. Someone should make me a pundit or something. I'd spread bullshit stories about how, as a Marvel fan, Obama needs a DC fan to balance the ticket.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay, so my eye doctor tells me I have a "stain" on my cornea - like I had a scratch and it got infected and now I have a stain or ulcer.

Lovely.

Stain sounded better than ulcer though.

I have drops to take 4x a day for the next 5 days and I go back in to see him on Monday to see if it's cleared up.

I'm getting next to nothing done today because I keep checking the superdelegates open thread at Daily Kos for new people.

What else besides ramen can you scoop? YOU CAN SCOOP THIS WORLD FROM DARKNESS!

I'd spread bullshit stories about how, as a Marvel fan, Obama needs a DC fan to balance the ticket.

Ooh. And then they can get RandomGuy to make some videos.

And lest we forget, the primary's not the only game in town:

"Once you abandon the artificial four-games-to-two framework that the media has tried to impose on the series, a very different picture emerges, with the Celtics leading by a mere 549 points to 539. Yes that’s right, the margin between the two teams is less than one percent—a tie, for all intents and purposes. This is probably the closest Conference Finals in NBA history, though I will thank you not to check on that."

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

The sun is now at it's worst angle. Extremely difficult to see my computer screen now. By 3pm it should be past the skylight, though, and life will be good again.

Now? Eyestrain like whoa.

Lunch was good. I ate at Citizen Cupcake (a Citizen Cake offshoot) in the Virgin Megastore and flipped through Wm. Gibson's Spook Country and ate a fancy weenie (smoked bier. Not a patch on the bockwurst you get at Schroeder's, but still delicious.) with coarse ground mustard, cibatta bread and good sauerkraut.
