Hmmm. That is actually good idea. I will be talking directly to a lot of different people instead of sharing my ideas with my boss, and having her share them with higher ups.
The thing is, based I what I do, I don't think I should really rise a grade-- my duties match more closely to the grade I have now, I should just be at the top salary for that grade. The only way they supposedly have to give me a raise is to change the grade, though. But I still won't be allowed to do a lot of the financial/budgeting stuff associated with the grade I am moving into because of my accountant nemesis (who I will now be senior to!)
ND very sorry for your loss, but I'm glad it happened in the best way it was going to happen, under the circumstances.
And fuck cancer.
Drew, I'm so sorry for your loss. What a comfort it must have been for your dad to be at home surrounded by his loved ones.
I knew moving to this new job would include more responsibility and independent work. I didn't expect to be totally on my own. Day three now and none of the 6 folks who sit anywhere near me, including my boss, are in the office.
Not really complaining cause I'm getting work done and I can visit here without guilt, but geeeesh. Glad they trust me.
I'm very sorry for your loss, Drew.
Packers are here. People, touching my stuff. Ack. Ack ack.
I'm so sorry for your loss, Drew.
No, he was going to come, but they told him not to. He's threatening to go pack someone else's house.
My condolences for your loss, Drew.
