You know, this extended period of unemployment will make me grateful for any salary I eventually get, I suppose. I need to remind myself that someday I too will be able to look forward to raises and so on. Benefits, even bonuses, right?

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Free speech, yadda, yadda. I still don't get this.
I'm trying to find those circular battery-operated lights you stick to the wall and turn on by pushing the whole thing, but I can't work out how to google them. Does anyone know what they're called and where I could get them? BloodBath and Beyond?
Do you mean Dot-its?
I've seen them at hardware stores, grocery stores and places like Walmart.
ETA: I've used them before, ita, and they are not helpful. The light is bright, but it doesn't throw very far.
hivemind advice needed... the people who own our old house just forwarded up a credit card bill that I had changed but I guess they forgot or liked the old address or something. Nice of them to do. The envelope was opened and then taped back together. likely they have the same credit card and I shouldn't really worry, or likely I should go into full change-card mode when I correct my address with the company (again)?

This happened to me a couple of years ago, and I cancelled my credit card and got a new one even though there were no charges on my credit card. I think that the credit card company would advise you to do this too, since they end up being on the hook for any fraudulent charges.

I understand that they were going for OTT. Surely they know that people exist that believe the crap of forwarded emails. Bottom line, I would have thought it was pretty damn funny if it weren't for the existence of people who do see them in that light. If it brings the absurdity to the surface and gets it behind us maybe it will be for the best.
Tap Lights can be found in the "As Seen on TV" aisle in Walgreens and CVS. Maybe Target & Walmart, too. We have several.
ita, that cover has me shaking my head. I find it neither satricial, nor funny. It's just crass.

Likely opened in error since they forwarded it to you. Doesn't hurt to change the card though. (I wouldn't bother)
I'd been thinking of these, but I think I like the Dot-its better.
Sox--unfortunately maybe you should. Who knows who else looked in?
Shouldn't I get Bastille Day as a holiday?
Seriously. In defiance at having to work on my national holiday, I am wearing jeans (and a white shirt and red shoes, natch).
