Punishingly Intricate

Congrats, sarameg! And Happy Birthdays, Ouise & Zenkitty!

My day started with a blast from the past friending me on Facebook. it's fine but a little psychologically unsettling. And I've had unfocused anxiety all weekend.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I agree with the ugh Monday, now with added surprise menstruation! And my left ear feels like someone is repeatedly showing a knife through to my throat

But yay Sarameg!

I actually just got my merit raise too, but it works out to, after taxes, $20.00 a week. I guess $80 a month is nothing to sneeze at, though. I swear I got bigger percentage raises when I was making minimum wage at a grocery store.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Hooray for raises! I got mine last week, but I can never figure out how much real income it's going to be until I see my paycheck.

And happy birthdays to 'Ouise and Zenkitty!

I'm hoping that the new president is going to suck up to us by giving us a raise :)

I can't either, but for some reason our paycheck goes up online about a week before it is in our account. But I get paid on the 15th and 30th/31st, which I find crazy making anyway.

Woohoo, sarameg! Congrats - makes the added frustration of the new job a little more tolerable?

Our raises are in the works here, but we won't see them officially until just before the fiscal year flip, end of Sep.

Sure!

...until the next time something really annoys the hell out of me.

I can't figure out what calendar the raises here are tied to. It's a bit random.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Happy Birthday, Zenkitty and Ouise!

Congrats, sarameg.

I'm ready to drive back home and go back to bed now.

I don't wanna work anymore today. Sigh.

I think my eyes resents too.

Our wings are not tired.

me too. I did. not. want to get out of bed this morning. Even after snoozing/lolling in bed until 9:45 (I usually get in to work at 9:30), I got up, went to the bathroom, came back into the bedroom and stared at the bed for a few minutes, deeply contemplating returning to its soft, welcoming depths.

My sister!
