Oh, wow. This place looks great. Oh, I feel like a witch in a magic shop.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Someone is outside my house playing Tyga's Coconut Juice. It is strange. I think it is probably the same boys who live in the building behind my house and set our lawn on fire with sparklers the other day. I was leterally, like, "gett offa my lawn!" I think I have found a new most obnoxious age group- post college frat type boys living together. At least the frat boys are in the frat house, not behind mine.

Although last night I was awoken, not by them, but by my downstairs neighbors 40ish son trying to wake his mother up at 3 am. I don't think she was home, I think I heard her leave with a gentleman caller. He got so agigtated and was banging on her windows, so I was scared to go downstairs and tell him, in case it was not an emergancy, but a case of hime being drunk and his wife kicking him out or something.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ii want a sewing machine. After I get a new job. I need to put my nose to the grindstone this weekend searching the job sites.

Man, it's eerily quiet in here. Sign to go home.

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

I'm going to pay bills and then do nothing because I won't have any money left over after I budget for Comic Con. I think I have some cool netflix movies and tonight is all new Stargate Atlantis and Doctor Who.

Our wings are not tired.

from way back:

and trying to figure out my sewing machine

Amy, did I send the instruction manual? If not, I can take a look around and see if it's at my place. Lemme know! I am glad to hear you're getting some use out of it.

Because books.

Amy, did I send the instruction manual?

You did! I just ... learn better if someone shows me. ::sheepish:: I read instructions and tend to doze off. ::even more sheepish::

Devi is curled up on my futon couch (I paid enough for a couchlike futon, I will call it that!)

She hadn't done that since....I don't recall her ever doing that. Then my parents visited and I was sleeping on it, and since she likes to sleep with me, she'd come up at night. And then sometimes when dad was sitting there (cats love my father.)

And now, apparently, whenever she damnwell feels like it. It's disconcerting to Mister Kitty, as that's always been his domain.

Hey, maybe they'll start curling up together.

Hahahah! Yeah, right.

In any case, I'd been encouraging her to sit up on the back of it, cause she'd always liked that spot on the old one, but it was really too narrow for her. This one isn't. But she wasn't buying until now.

Amy- I can probably talk you through it online if you need help-- I have taught so many people to thread a sewing machine I can probably do it in words alone, or I could give you my cell#.

I actaully hope to finish cleaning my house, fo to the market, and sew curtains from the awesome 70's bedsheets I got a long time ago at the good will. Sometimes I think I want more money to decorate, but I actually kind of like weird things made out of wintage sheets and such, so maybe not. A woman at work got married to this rich country-club kind of guy, and she has had to change her style so much-- she makes fun of her old style, but I think she secretly misses it. She once made a coffee table with an old window with vintage photograhs affixed under the glass, and that seems so cool to me!

We're all getting played with, babe. -Weird Barbie

Allyson, I, too, am shaking with fury at the situation with your brother. I know it's not easy to take money, especially when you're usually the one gathering it for others, but please let us do this for you.

Hang in there. We've got your back.

(Maybe it would be easier if we just gathered the money and sent it to her? I know if I were in her shoes, that would be easier for me than asking.)
