I made it through the Bad Meeting relatively unscathed. Now I just have to listen in on another meeting, and then I'm done! Phew. I have to decide if I'm going to take the train/bus or cab to the airport. Lazy vs. cheap -- it's a real battle within me!

I don't know whether "defense of preschool-age son" would be a defense as a matter of law. But I don't see any jury convicting on those facts.

Me neither. I'd sure vote to acquit. I mean, I've never hit another person in my life, but if anyone laid a hand on Annabel in my presence I have no doubt whatsoever that would change that very instant.

Yikes Allyson! Here's hoping everything turns out well for your brother. Hopefully the DA's office will have a sense of perspective about the difference between the situation that actually occurred and just randomly pummeling someone without provocation.
