I don't know, but less than an hour after eating oatmeal, I snarfed down an entire red chile chicken burrito from Pepe's.
For some reason I find oatmeal never keeps me full for long. Sure it sticks to your ribs going down, but an hour or two later, I am ravenous.
Look, Chicago People, maps of your city!

My favorite is the Legend of the Shark.

I have that problem with apples, but rarely with oatmeal. Today, however, I would have cheerfully eaten an entire side of cow and asked for dessert.
Mmmmmmm, cow.
Ouch--it is still the top of the third, the Cubs are down 4-3 and their pitcher has just been yanked after 2 2/3rd innings with two more Reds on base. Again, ouch.
In other baseball news, the Mariners just released Richie Sexson.
Don't let the screen door hit ya where the good Lord split ya, Richie.
Well, they can hire 10 new sluggers now.
ION, I'm starving and can go downstairs and be tempted by all kinds of yummy food or I can eat the lean cuisine that is in the freezer here on my floor.
What should I do, hivemind?

Unfortunately they still have to pay him. That was
such
a terrible contract, and it's not like no one predicted it. If only the guys from USS Mariner and Lookout Landing could take over the team...
If you're like me and need to start saving money, then Lean Cuisine it. (I'm looking at the weekly flyer for the grocery store online right now and making up my shopping list for the weekend. My big debate is do I splurge and get the Rainier cherries that are on sale for "only" $4.99/lb or no?)
I love that Zambrano, in addition to being a hell of a pitcher, is also such a good batter that he's currently batting for Pitcher #2 (who's being yanked after only 1 1/3 innings), even though since he pitched a great game last night, there's no chance in hell he's going to pitch any today.
