My DH is AWESOME, Part 195: When I was in high school, I worked near an art store. they had a collection of Polish Cyrk poster, which I fell in love with and which were way too expensive for me. I used to go over there on a regular basis just to look at them.
The Polish Goverment hired artists to design posters for the State Circus, posters which had to be metaphorical rather than straighforward--and most of them are amazing. Here's some info about them. [link] I have always wanted one and have mentioned them to the DH and we looked at sites periodically for the last few years.
Guess what I am getting for my birthday? This one, which has long been one of my faves: [link]
That's such a cool thing -- and an awesome poster. Also an awesome DH, but we knew that!

I don't know, but less than an hour after eating oatmeal, I snarfed down an entire red chile chicken burrito from Pepe's. I could probably eat more, too.
What cool posters!! Damnit, something else to put on my "to buy someday when I win the lottery" list...
Cubs are up 3-1 in the top of the third! Let's hope they get the game in before rain hits--it's already looking a bit dark grey-ish outside.

For some reason I find oatmeal never keeps me full for long. Sure it sticks to your ribs going down, but an hour or two later, I am ravenous.
Look, Chicago People, maps of your city!
