OMG, how much would I love seeing Turd Blossom brought up on contempt charges: [link]

Of course, Shrub will probably just give him a blanket pardon.

huh. and I was just pondering if dating was something I might venture back into. maybe not.

nooo it was a joke! My dates are the opposite of that!

Today has been my B'more Celebrity Day. I saw Mary Alice from Ace of Cakes at the coffee shop this a.m. and then I just ran into my friends Trixie Little & her Evil Hate Monkey at the Whole Foods.

They are going to be on the new Gong show!

I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

lisah, it sounds like you live next door to PeeWee's Playhouse. And I mean that in a very good way.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

My inner misanthrope wants to strangle my outer pacifist, line the whole present administration up against the wall, pop them for an example of not getting away with shit you thought you could and would. And for a second go-round, the kids who yelled at Kat.

But my outer pacifist is a three hundred pound bruiser and keeps the cork in the misanthrope's bottle pretty tight.

Tamara, I'm sorry to hear about your aunt.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Beverly is me. Only I'm not sure my outer pacifist is quite as big and tough as hers, so it's probably just as well I'm thousands of miles from any of these people.

We're very stretchy. - Connie Neil

I meant to say that those kids are complete fuckos, Kat. They deserve every bit of punishment the campus police and school authorities can come up with. Grrrr.

As a big fan of Ace of Cakes, am now jealous of lisah's seeing Mary Alice. That woman is so cool, and handles that office wonderfully.

Still have a bit of a headache (combined with cramps, it's all so great! Not really), but a potential office screwup ended up being resolved in Not My Screwup, which is mostly good. Instead, it's Kentucky's, which they are handling by sending us what we paid them for six weeks before the subscription ran out, but which they didn't think we had renewed in time until I pointed out the whole "six-weeks-early" thing. Fie on them.
