My guys recycle electronics, weirdly shaped pieces of styrofoam, and all kinds of stuff. Unfortunately they are in Durham NC, but maybe there is a similar co. locally? I found these guys because they do a "bring in your stuff and we'll recycle it free" day once a month at the Whole Foods.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd love to be getting the audio on this, because the visuals are pretty damned amusing.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

ita - I saw that on the audition show and it was painful. The delusional folks are hard to watch.

Art Crawl!!!

Man, it is humid here. I knew that taking a week off in July would mean a week of hot, humid weather spent in a place w/o a/c.

I just read that Nadal pulled out of his next tournament with muscle pain above his right knee. (Did he fall in his semi-final? Because he was bleeding but I don't remember seeing a fall.)

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

He fell and pulled something in the semi, I think.

Art Crawl!!!

Okay - the article says he's been having knee problems since last year's Wimbledon - no wonder his Uncle Tony wants him to play less.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Anybody got any cool new blogs or websites to share?

I just found Coilhouse which has a goth/horror/fetish/style/cyberpunk slant. It's not an insular scene-oriented site, but covers a broad range of cultural artifacts like: Fritz Lang's Metropolis, the dilapidated Electric Park Pavilion in Oklahooma, encomiums to Don S. Davis and Cyd Charisse, reflecting on the best uses of Ian Curtis' stolen headstone, eulogizing the closed Nova Express Cafe in Los Angeles (how could this place not have been Miracleman's ultimate haunt? A cthulu/science fiction themed bar/cafe open late into the night), a review of Fashion in 2008 ("Good so far, still needs more lace"), Daily Drag Queen affirmations. And that's just the first page.

So what have you found online lately?

A few weeks ago, I saw that the London Times now has its entire archive available for free online. Of course, I've got it bookmarked on my home computer, not here, so I can't provide the link right now.

Because you didn't start a post like this ages ago saying, "Hey check out this site Coilhouse."

I blame you. Still, you have to love that fashion review. I might have to start appending that line to all of my critiques: "This salad is good, but it needs more lace."
