I like the whales' solution for sex in buoyant conditions.

The most wonderful man (and his assistant) just came and took away my old washer and dryer, to RECYCLE, including hauling them up out of my hot and sweaty basement, for only $25. BLESS THEM. Today is now made of win, no matter what else happens. (Localistas who need recycling, let me recommend Philco Services.)

Let me know if you want contact info.

Yes, please! Profile addy's good. I don't know if Im at the exterminator place yet, but I might get there soon. I want to find this stuff, Orange Guard first. I am annoyed because it says that my Whole Foods carries it, when it does not, in fact.

I'm about to toss out my old TV and I'm feeling guilty about the fact I'm just going to put it next to the dumpster and just hope that someone takes it before it goes to the landfill.

Kathy, maybe you can donate it to a shelter or a school? They might come pick it up (as I recall, you don't have a car)

Oh, I definitely have a car, but it's the whole getting it into the car that's a problem. It's really heavy. It also really doesn't work at all well, so I'd feel guilty donating it to someone who expects a working set.

My guys recycle electronics, weirdly shaped pieces of styrofoam, and all kinds of stuff. Unfortunately they are in Durham NC, but maybe there is a similar co. locally? I found these guys because they do a "bring in your stuff and we'll recycle it free" day once a month at the Whole Foods.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'd love to be getting the audio on this, because the visuals are pretty damned amusing.

ita - I saw that on the audition show and it was painful. The delusional folks are hard to watch.

Art Crawl!!!

Man, it is humid here. I knew that taking a week off in July would mean a week of hot, humid weather spent in a place w/o a/c.

I just read that Nadal pulled out of his next tournament with muscle pain above his right knee. (Did he fall in his semi-final? Because he was bleeding but I don't remember seeing a fall.)
