sophia, did you ice your burn? Even this late, get a bowl, put in some ice cubes and cold water, and submerge the hand. Keep it there as much and as long as you can. The water will help rehydrate the less-damaged tissue, to a degree, and minimize the ultimate damage--and the cold will help numb the pain, at least while it's in the water.
I hate burns.
I have attempted to make tzatziki.
We'll see. I didn't have any english cukes or fresh dill, so.
I don't think that cooking lamb is an easy thing to mess up. It's not like it is baking (which generally terrifies me). Depending on how much fig and apricot it calls for, I would double the quantity for fresh and then reduce any liquid called for by a quarter to a half cup.
I've been putting an icecube on it (it was actually a small area, just hurty.
Also, I did not seem to make caramel syrup, rather toffee. Which is pretty good, but I want it to stay liquid when cold so I can put it in my iced coffee instead of store bought syrup. I think the recipe I used was more for something you would put over a hot dessert.
I went and got my hair done--it's now a nice shade which bears little to no resemblance to the shade I wanted. Then I put together the chair I bought at Ikea. There wasn't even any swearing or blood involved.
I didn't know the nationality of cucumbers mattered.
This weekend I have been focused on eating chilled fruit (a good cold Pink Lady apple) and drinking icewater. And I'm not even hot. Oh, and a bagel a day. No idea what that's about.
Was talking to my mother today about the possibility of me being pregnant (uh, nil), and she said she knew I wasn't because I wasn't in a relationship. She's so quaint, still. My dad was still mostly just stunned about the poledancing thing, although I told him about it at least a week ago. Took him a while to process, I guess. He's full of a lot of why.
Okay, off to find more painkillers.
Owch! Carmel can get really, really hot. Maybe some aloe would help, Sophia?
I'm waiting for another round of thunderstorms to get here. I love storms, especially when I don't have to go anywhere in them. I'm also trying to get up the gumption to make a BLT. The tomato is fresh and locally grown, the bread is sourdough, the whole thing should be totally yummeriffic. On the other hand, the couch is extremely comfortable.

Did you not go to Kirsten?
I am watching His Girl Friday, which is one of my favorites, and I am finding myself feeling sorry for poor Ralph Bellamy, which is sort of ruining my enjoyment. It is sort of like my over-identification with th fish ruins my enjoyment of The Cat in the Hat.
I miss Kirsten already. The Colorado weather has given me hair I do not recognize. It is bizarre.
