None for me, thanks. I discovered tote bags and small duffles galore when we were packing. I ditched some, kept some, and I really should ditch more.

"OK! THAT does not look safe."
Totally heart-ing mac.
My house feels especially empty tonight, so I am trying to clean up a bit to keep myself occupied. I just emptied two very full grocery bags of rotting fruits and veggies into the compost bin. Most of it organic stuff from the Farmer's Market. Ouch.
Next step is to actually think about what I want to make before I go to the Farmer's market tomorrow, and look for things I will cook, and not buy things because they look fresh and pretty.
We spent the day making home movies and reading stories. It was just too cloudy and rainy to do much else.
It was just too cloudy and rainy to do much else.
Yeah, I was planning on going to watch fireworks but it's foggy and rainy here.
Of course, that doesn't mean it is on the other side of the city, but still, not good for the motivation.
I was wondering what happened to our Fireworks weather. Every year when fireworks are scheduled, it's usually too rainy or foggy for them, but not this year.
See, everyone wants to make you feel better!
YAY! I adored it. How can you not love the romanticism of that little robot?
Yes! I loved it to pieces. Fabulous.
Also, Allyson is taunting me with pie.
Aw, that's sweet.
I just watched the DC fireworks on TV, even though I could have seen them from my roof. I was watching the music stuff on TV, and got caught up in watching Jerry Lee Louis and didn't have time to get to the roof before the fireworks started. I could feel the vibrations of the fireworks, though.
Also been reading patriotic/political poems. I keep going back to "Bryan, Bryan, Bryan, Bryan" and "I Hear America Singing." And, of course, "New Colossus," hence my new tagline.
