This has been a hard time for Buffista pets. My mother's dog Frankie had to be whisked to the emergency vet on Sunday and was euthanized. He suddenly had a massive and painful tumour on his side that was just not treatable. It was a straightforward decision, but was still really hard and sad. My aunt and both my sisters and I came along with my mother. It's a good thing their rooms weren't any smaller!

Jesse Helms has died. I still think of him as the evillest man in politics.
