Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ugh. Sorry to hear that, shrift.

Should I have Federal and State income tax withheld from my unemployment benefits?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yes. Unless you're sure you'll be ready to pay them next April. And/or you wouldn't be able to survive on the smaller amount right now.

Should I have Federal and State income tax withheld from my unemployment benefits?

Yes, because, in general, if you've worked at all during the year, they don't withhold enough overall because when you're on unemployment you are in the lowest tax bracket.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I never had my taxes taken out of my unemployement because I always considered it an arts grant and took the full amount and usually six months off. So my income went down and I didn't owe anything.

If you're planning on finding a job, though, and getting back to work before you exhaust your benefits then you should have the taxes taken out.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

Bah. After years of not having a problem, my mail is getting returned to sender again. I found this out because a check addressed to me got returned to the sender. There was nothing wrong with the address, and my name/appt # is on list for my building.

I really can't afford to take six months off. I have to pay rent, and unemployment won't stretch very far.

Am having taxes taken out. And getting a migraine from filing for unemployment.

Oh, and I have a job interview on Tuesday.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Good luck, shrift.

I don't know what the fuck I've been doing all day, but it certainly wasn't crossing things off my to-do list. I really hope we get out early tomorrow....

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Interview-ma, shrift!
