We killed a homeless man on this bench. Me and Dru. Those were good times. You know, he begged for mercy, and you know, that only made her bite harder.

The last natter died. I went shopping for shoes and other things, because it is sunny and 75. I returned with shoes and scotch, and then finished reading Bellwether. Then I had ice cream.

"There are few hours in life more agreeable than the hour dedicated to the ceremony known as afternoon tea."

I think I'm going to order these string lights for the umbrella we're going to get.

Pretty!

not your mom's socks.

oh I remember Bellwether if you're talking about the novel? Did the email cycle of bad ever stop?

See? I gave everybody here an opportunity to tell me what a bad person I am and nobody did, because I fuckin' rule.

Those string lights are adorable, Cash! And I am full of envy of the life that has room for an umbrella that calls for those lights.

Perkins, check your email. You may possibly be slightly amused. Or bemused by my slowness on the uptake.

I cleaned out the disaster closet. 2 bags to the dumpster. I still have too many boxes, but now I can get all my luggage in there (mind you, this is a huge closet.) Also got groceries. Will do nails later.

It's really steamy here.

PHC is in Las Cruces! I wonder if my parents got tickets.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Plus, I am having a good hair day,

Yes, yes you are. Both K-Bug and I were commenting on how cute you looked today and then we realized that neither of us had said as much TO you...eep.

So, her hair is adorable now (she got an updo for the PROM tonight). I now have 3 girls in my house doing make up and hair and getting dressed. They leave in about an hour for pictures and then are doing pre-Prom at someone else's house (yay!), though I have been "allowed" to come take pictures.

There will be pictures in lj eventually.

Missed the new natter beginning. Damn.

Yoga. Lunch (cabernet roast on a bed of greens with tomatoes, mushrooms and red peppers and chicken corn chowder and hatch chili bread with a slice of cheddar cheese...blueberry crisp for dessert) with Polgara. Dropped a DVD off, mailed some stuff. Played in the yard with Noah.

Do Fluevogs run true to size?

sparky, yes. mostly. Though if they are heels, I go up a half size for comfort, if possible.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Meep. Am getting ready to go see Lucero by myself. And by getting ready, I mean drinking beers, thinking about changing, and trying not to psych myself out of going. Meep. Maybe I should break out the Fernet.
