The Mall got evacuated when we were at the Folklife Fest on account of thunderstorms.

My parents probably saw more rain while they were here than they have in the past year. Bad drought in NM.

Wishing you easy days with Pico, Sue.

So...took the parents around Hampden today. Open houses. Oy. (You happy now , msbelle?!)

Me too happy! Where did you look? See any good prospects???

I felt terrible and hungover (though I wasn't really) most of the day yesterday. I think it was the heat. bleh. But I did make it to the market and got some tomatoes and cukes and was going to make some tomato, cuke, feta salad. I need some feta though. It's always something.

Waaaay too busy for this hour, if you ask me. Now ask Kat, and it is a regular day for her.

Ha. It is. But not today. I was up late last night sewing. Tonight will have to be an early one.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I was thinking of Pico as I was walking up the driveway on my way back back from the gym, Ruby was outside on the balcony, yelling at me, as usual. She does the same thing when I come home from work or a long errand. "DOOOOOD! Where you been?"

I'm grateful to have been missed, and gave her extry earscratches when I came in.

Sue, I'm so sorry about Pico. I hope he has as easy a time as possible for however long he has.

Just whatever was open Sunday. A couple houses on Elm and the cross-streets between it and Chestnut. Oh and a hyuge place on, um... Roland, I think. Next one over from Elm. Nothing really jumped out at me, all out of the price range (to be expected on those streets.) It was just an exercise, really. Also, with the parents? I wasn't really paying attention so much. We kept losing Dad in the basements (which I cannot stay long in because they freak me out a bit.)

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I felt terrible and hungover (though I wasn't really) most of the day yesterday. I think it was the heat.

I have come to the conclusion that the vast majority of a hangover is dehydration + lack of sleep, since I have had those things without drinking, and it totally feels like being hungover.

She does the same thing when I come home from work or a long errand. "DOOOOOD! Where you been?"

My cat does that, too, and it always cracks me up. He's all, "Thank GOD you're back!!!!!!" and I'm like, "Yeah, I'e been gone five minutes."

Yeah, I tried to stay hydrated but I think I started too late. And also waited to long to have food other than a little cinnamon bun.

Art Crawl!!!

My cats greet me enthusiastically when I return - but that's mostly because they think they're going to be fed.

And mostly they are right. (I generally feed them when I get home from work.)

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

My cat also greets me crazy enthusiastically. I live on the 2nd floor and she rubs against my legs on every stair! Also, sometimes she gets so into it, she actually does a somersault and falls of the stair
