You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

Sue, my heart hurts for you and Pico.

hip deep in pie

Yeah, I know. I don't think he's quite ready yet, but he's declining a bit everyday. That said, he may freak if I take him back to the vet tomorrow just to change his pain patch.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

I'm so sorry, Sue. That just sucks, no way around it.

oh joy! Oh Rapture ! I have a brain!

I'm always appalled at the choices they make based on "what will sell"

There are some obvious things that people miss -- the big one being major clutter. My guest room ,office and garage would need a major clean up before the house sells. ( not that I want to do this). The other thing I've seen is houses that are painted bright colors - different in every room -- that look like a lot of work to repaint. I'll eventually repaint every room in this house, but mostly, it is livable until I get there. The final thing people don't do --is all the minor repairs-- put the door handles on and trim your bushes people.

My favorite buyers -- the one that say " I love the furniture". I always hope they overpay for whatever they buy, because they seem sooo clueless.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Sue, what everyone said about you and Pico. You will be wise, and you will be sensitive. You're a good cat owner. Just don't feel guilty.

God, I'm wired and tired. Once all this is done with it'll be time to start job seeking. Tireder.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

Oy, Sue. I'm so sorry.

Liese, did the package arrive yet? I'm worried that the stuff is stale now.

Noah and I just had our first swimming lessons together (I've had entire childhoods of lessons alone). What a perfect day for it. I'm trying to figure out how for the second summer sessions we can go 3 times a week.

My mom sent me a link to these driftwood horse sculptures that are amazing.

Why yes, my sunday is that lazy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Skipping like crazy because camp is bizarre levels of busy, but had to post...

..because I got the bestest care package evah at camp from Kat! Mmm, brownies! Bunches of candy and a pack of supercute Japanese postcards and bat tattoos! and Noah and Grace photos and an anime bag (which I already used for the local library's used book sale!) and a Harlequin bag (which I already used for grocering!) and yeah, did I mention best package ever?

'Cause it is.

All of which is to say, thanks!

(ha, crossposting!)
