I battle evil. But I don't really win. The bad keeps coming back and getting stronger. Like that kid in the story, the boy that stuck his finger in the duck.

Oy, Sue. I'm so sorry.

Liese, did the package arrive yet? I'm worried that the stuff is stale now.

Noah and I just had our first swimming lessons together (I've had entire childhoods of lessons alone). What a perfect day for it. I'm trying to figure out how for the second summer sessions we can go 3 times a week.

My mom sent me a link to these driftwood horse sculptures that are amazing.

Why yes, my sunday is that lazy.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Skipping like crazy because camp is bizarre levels of busy, but had to post...

..because I got the bestest care package evah at camp from Kat! Mmm, brownies! Bunches of candy and a pack of supercute Japanese postcards and bat tattoos! and Noah and Grace photos and an anime bag (which I already used for the local library's used book sale!) and a Harlequin bag (which I already used for grocering!) and yeah, did I mention best package ever?

'Cause it is.

All of which is to say, thanks!

(ha, crossposting!)

I'm so sorry, Sue. I definitely feel your pain.

YAY I'm so glad it got there! Whew. The Harlequin Romance bag was an odd one, but good in that recyclable sack way.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hee! It is made of win. Thank you so much!

The SO inquired about the Harlequin bag. He also repeatedly asked to see the twins pics and has probably laid claim to the bat pin.

Anyway, it's all great, and totally stuff I can use and need (like candy!) while I'm here.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

You know how I was sooooo sleepy earlier and made myself a latte? Well, no I have a coffee overdose! I feel like my eyeballs are going to pop out of my head! On the plus side, I am getting a lot of cleaning done. and I think I finally understand how I got so much done in college!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

We are so wired silly here. Way too much caffeine has been consumed, and I am stretched very thin.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I could use a bit of wiring myself. Maybe I'll stick a finger in an electric socket, which would be at least QUICK.
