Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I'm finishing my first week of tapering off morphine and it hasn't gone too badly.

eta: Hey! What's the word that starts with a for a Wiccan (I think it's Wiccan) ceremonial knife?

You know, we could experiment and cancel football.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Oh thank god someone else answered. The only word coming to my mind was crysknife.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Cute, Jess! Ages 1-2 are the key years for teaching your baby to do party tricks, so I'm glad you're on top of it.

Good news: Summer Fridays start tomorrow at my job, so we get out at 1!

That man was going to shank me. Over an omelette. Two eggs and a slice of government cheese. Is that what my life is worth?

Hec, that just sucks. All kinds of ~ma to your friend.

Jessica, I love that you are a dork and you DO have a v. cute boy.

Yay, Tamara!!

After a day of internet issues, I finally have everything up and working again. Yay!! Seriously, being w/o the internets is Not Good. I rely on it way too much.

Good Trouble and Righteous Fights

We might need a quick Good News Audit:

I'm feeling the happiest and most accomplished and productive I have in years.

I'm going to two writers conferences in the next five weeks.

Barring unforeseen disaster, we should be out of credit card debt by the end of July.

giraffe mode

Aww Hec that's just not good. Man!

Vibes and thoughts for all the sick pets.

Anyone want to give me a sort of usual 11th grade course list

Amy, don't know if this helps but this is what my soon-to-be 11th grader is taking: US History (AP), Psych (AP) (elective), English (AP), Chem (elective), Pre-Calc, Physiology (elective - and satisfies the stupid Health requirement). She took Spanish in middle school so her foreign language requirement is complete. Next year she'll only have to take 5 classes - US Govt or Econ, Calculus, Bio 3-4(AP), Literature (AP) and one other elective

Thanks, Tamara! Couldn't find that middle "a" anywhere.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Oh David, that is horrible news. I came in here ready to spew bile about the complete suck-fest that was my commute home tonight, but I think that pales now.

Good News:

The theatre gave me a $1000 raise

My BFF's husband has been alcohal free for one month and they are back living together. He may just pull this together yet.

My mom's kitty, who was diagnosed with hyperthyroid, is doing much better.

My boss, whose position was eliminated is very happy with her new teaching job and has lined up a few consulting gigs to help make up the money. She seems so much happier, and I am glad, because she seems calmer
